Questions about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl maps

Where are the stashes in Stalker 2?
The Stashes layer marks 1,321 containers, including clue-linked stashes with their in-game names and descriptions.
Where can artifacts spawn?
Use Artifact Spawns for 85 fixed locations. The game selects the artifact at each location, so every marker is labeled "Dynamic spawn".
Does the map show main and side missions?
Yes. It marks 296 main-mission targets and 493 side-mission targets. Active targets can change with quest progress, so these markers are conditional.
Where are traders, technicians, medics and guides?
The service layers contain 38 traders, 22 technicians, 14 medics and 13 guides with their in-game names. Technicians also provide weapon upgrades.
Which mutant types can I filter?
The Mutant Lairs layer lets you filter 16 encounter types, including bloodsuckers, chimera, controllers, pseudogiants, snorks and bayun.
Are mutant markers guaranteed encounters?
No. Lairs are persistent encounter areas, but mutants can respawn or vary with A-Life. Every lair is therefore labeled "Dynamic spawn".
Does the map separate PDAs from notes?
Yes. PDAs and written notes have separate layers, and named items keep their in-game titles and descriptions.
Where can I sleep in the Zone?
The Beds layer marks 44 usable beds. Emission shelters are separate because not every shelter has a bed.
Why do some NPCs appear as quest-dependent?
Named characters can move, disappear or be replaced as quests advance. The listed location is exact, but story progress determines who is there.
Can I save found locations?
Mark any point as found and it fades without leaving the map. Found locations, layer choices and the last view stay in this browser, and a copied link preserves the current map position.
