Stalker 2 Fast Travel, Traders and Technicians Map
The service layers map 13 guides, 38 traders, 22 technicians, 14 medics, 20 bases, and 44 beds without mixing them into one generic icon set.
Layers this guide uses
Use the Guides layer for 13 fast-travel NPC records. Add 38 Traders, 22 Technicians, 14 Medics, 20 Bases, and 44 Beds when planning a service stop. Open all six service layers for the complete network.
The map shows where each record is. The game still decides whether a guide is active, which destinations are available, and what the trip costs in the current save.
Find a guide for fast travel
Open the Guides layer and choose the nearest named guide. Search the NPC’s name when you already know it, or combine Guides with Bases when you only know the hub.
Walk to the marked guide in the game and use the available dialogue. Search the character by name if several guide markers appear near the same hub.
Traders and technicians answer different route questions
Traders are for buying and selling. Technicians are the repair and upgrade stops. Keep their layers separate so the chosen hub offers the service you need.
Use these focused views:
- Traders and bases for selling a heavy loot run.
- Technicians and bases before choosing an armor or weapon route.
- Traders, technicians, and guides when deciding which hub saves the most walking.
The nearest point in a straight line is not always the quickest. Roads, water, walls, mission locks, and guide availability can make a farther hub the practical choice.
Find services at the Slag Heap
Open the Slag Heap with its service layers. The selected Location marker identifies the hub in Garbage, while the surrounding Trader, Technician, Guide, and Base markers show which stops are nearby.
Keep the Location marker selected while comparing services. If a mission sends you back to the Slag Heap, the copied URL returns to the same hub instead of reopening the entire Zone.
Medics and beds are separate services
The map contains 14 Medic records and 44 Beds. Shelters are separate because an emission shelter does not always contain a usable bed.
Use Medics and Beds before a long mission chain. Add Shelters only when the route also needs emission cover.
A bed marker identifies a sleeping place; add it only when the time of day matters to the route.
Plan a service loop before a loot run
- Select the loot or mission marker you intend to reach.
- Add Traders if inventory space is the concern.
- Add Technicians if equipment condition is the concern.
- Add a Guide when the return distance is the concern.
- Add a Bed before a route that may continue into the night.
Keep the target layer and the service layers, but remove unrelated supplies. This makes the route readable while still showing the stops that can change the plan.
Fast travel in Iron Forest and CNPP
Cost of Hope adds Iron Forest and CNPP to the same map. If a marked service is not available in the game, check story progress and the current NPC state before choosing another route.
Share the route
Select the service marker and copy the URL. The link preserves the chosen point and current view, which is more useful than sending only a coordinate pair.
Open a confirmed service marker and choose Mark as found if you want it faded on later route checks.
