Big Walk Coordinate Puzzle and Hidden Button Location
The southern coordinate clue points to rocks beside the broken train line, where one player must hold a hidden button for another.
Layers this guide uses
Open the clue area with Challenges and Train visible. Use the wrecked train to find the correct stretch of track, then search behind the nearby rocks for the unmarked floor button.
What you need before starting
Bring at least two players. The person who finds the remote button cannot also stand at the reward, so a solo attempt stops at the final action even if you reach the correct coordinate.
The Folding map from the Red Tower Map Room makes the clue easier to understand, but it is not required if you use the centred LootMap view. If you want the in-game tool first, follow the Map Room, Folding map and Compass guide.
A train unlock is optional. The track is a useful landmark and the running train can shorten part of the trip, but the broken train and button area can be reached on foot.
How to read the clue
Treat the pair as one precise point, not two separate puzzle answers. Read the first value from north to south and the second from west to east.
Use the grid lines to narrow each value from a broad square to a point within it. Together the two values lead to the southern part of the island near the railway.
LootMap centres the linked view on the clue. There is no button pin, so use the crosshair and terrain.
Route from the railway
Travel south until the railway reaches the area with a wrecked train. Near it is an unusual blue structure and a separate lights puzzle. Those are large landmarks that confirm you are on the correct stretch of track.
From the wreck, look toward the nearby rock base. Walk around the rocks instead of climbing over the first face you see. The button sits behind them, close to the centre of the linked map view.
At night the floor control is easy to miss. Bring a Flashlight or wait for daylight, and keep the map centred while the searcher circles the rock. A second player should remain at the original puzzle so the group can test the button as soon as it is found.
How to finish the puzzle
Split the group before the final step:
- Leave one player at the puzzle reward.
- Send another to the linked rocks by the broken train.
- Have the searcher stand on or hold the hidden button.
- While it is active, have the waiting player collect the reward.
If nothing changes, confirm both players are in the same host world and that the searcher has the floor control fully pressed. The clue only identifies the remote button. It does not move the reward to that coordinate.
Coordinate puzzle FAQ
Is there a hidden-button marker on the map?
No. The link centres the correct area and shows nearby Challenge and Train markers, but the button itself has no pin.
Does the train need to be running?
Use the broken train and rail line as landmarks. The puzzle solution does not require the Blue Tower train service to be running.
Can two players solve it?
Yes. One stays with the reward and one presses the remote button. A larger group can send a pair to search, but only those two roles are required for the final step.
