KORD BREACH Documents Map Guide | Escape from Tarkov

Each KORD BREACH document type belongs to three eligible maps, so choose the required type first and search only within its verified location set.

Game build 1.1.0.1.46911

KORD BREACH documents are seasonal TerraGroup files, not a location called KORD. There are 8 standard types that can appear in raids, and each one is assigned to 3 eligible Escape from Tarkov maps. Classified Documents are a separate substitute type obtained through the Expansion Hub. Choose the standard type required by your Battle Pass progress before choosing a raid.

The verified matrix tells you which maps can produce a type. It does not provide a trustworthy exact pin. Ordinary raid documents are personal spawns, and no repeatable fixed position has been verified for a specific type. Use the interactive maps to plan entrances, hazards, search order, and extraction, but do not treat a generic loot marker as a guaranteed KORD file.

Match the required document type to its maps

KORD BREACH document typeEligible locations
Blueprints and technical documentationInterchange, Factory, and The Labyrinth
Financial documentsCustoms, Streets of Tarkov, and Interchange
Medical documentsThe Lab, Ground Zero, and The Labyrinth
PMC personnel filesReserve, Lighthouse, and Icebreaker
User documentationGround Zero, Streets of Tarkov, and The Lab
Test documentationShoreline, Woods, and Icebreaker
Technical documentationShoreline, Woods, and Lighthouse
Project documentationFactory, Reserve, and Customs

Several locations appear in two rows. That does not mean every KORD type can spawn there. For example, Interchange belongs to the blueprint and financial sets, while Woods belongs to the test and technical sets. Read the required type in the Battle Pass before committing to a familiar map.

Choose among the three eligible maps

Start with access, survival, and route knowledge rather than a rumoured screenshot. If you need financial documents, compare Customs, Streets of Tarkov, and Interchange. The first may suit a player who already knows its crossings; the second offers a denser urban raid; the third concentrates travel around the mall and exterior exits. The correct choice is the one where you can search deliberately and still leave through an assigned extraction.

For PMC personnel files, access can be the deciding factor. Reserve, Lighthouse, and Icebreaker share the type, but the last of those has its own story access. Do not select it merely because someone reported a document there. A normal unlocked location with a known exit plan is often the safer attempt.

Open the chosen map before the raid and reduce it to the layers you need for navigation. Plan Customs with exits and hazards, review the Interchange floors, or prepare Woods boundary risks. These links help with movement; they are not document-spawn claims.

Search without turning reports into false certainty

Treat each raid as a controlled search. Decide how long you will remain in the area, select an assigned extraction, and stop adding detours when the return path becomes unsafe. A document found in one raid proves that the type can appear on the eligible map; it does not prove that the same object will be present for another player at that spot.

Use a simple record after each attempt:

  • required document type and the eligible map you selected;
  • the broad areas you checked, described by stable in-game landmarks;
  • the extraction you kept available and the point where you stopped searching;
  • whether the document came from your personal raid spawn or a Black Division operative.

This record helps you avoid repeating an unproductive route without spreading an unverified coordinate. It also makes it easier to switch to one of the other two eligible maps when access, raid conditions, or familiarity changes.

Understand personal and shared document drops

Documents found through ordinary raid searching are assigned personally. Other players cannot take your personal file first, and it is not recovered from a dead PMC as normal loot. A document carried by a Black Division operative follows the shared-drop rule instead, so squad members must decide who collects it.

The Battle Pass also applies acquisition limits by mode and shares their consumption across modes. Check the current interface before continuing a long search session; an old daily number can change with the season. Classified Documents can substitute for another required type through the current Expansion Hub exchange. Use that option according to the requirement shown on your own progress screen rather than assuming every player needs the same distribution.

Keep KORD BREACH separate from Station 14-4 KORD

The story also uses the name KORD for Station 14-4 access materials. Those passes and mechanic notes are not Battle Pass document types. If a task mentions the station, follow that task’s item and access instructions. If the interface asks for TerraGroup documents under KORD BREACH, use the type-to-map matrix above.

Questions about the KORD document map

Does a loot or container marker show an exact KORD document spawn?

No. Container and loose-loot markers describe places worth checking, but they do not establish a KORD document type at a fixed coordinate. Use them for route context only. An exact seasonal pin needs independent evidence linking the active document system to that world position.

Why did another player find a file where I found nothing?

Ordinary KORD files use personal raid spawning, and a valid map can support more than one type without guaranteeing either at a reported spot. Confirm that your required type belongs to the map, search within a bounded route, and try another eligible location rather than treating one empty position as a broken objective.

Can I search Terminal for KORD BREACH documents?

Not under the current matrix of 8 raid-spawned standard types. The eligible sets cover the other twelve locations, while Terminal appears in none of them. Recheck the current Battle Pass if a later season changes that assignment.
