Silksong Simple Key and Locked Door Locations Guide
The Pharloom data has eight Simple Key related collectible markers and ten Locked ways; map-marker totals are not the same as inventory-item totals.
Layers this guide uses
The Silksong map contains eight Simple Key related collectible markers and ten Locked ways. Use Collectibles to find key records, then switch to Locked ways for the doors. The two totals are map records, not a claim that the inventory contains eight separate usable Simple Keys at once.
Key and lock counts
| Layer or subtype | Markers |
|---|---|
| Simple Key collectible records | 8 |
| Locked ways | 10 |
| Levers | 368 |
| Passages | 1,351 |
| Benches | 85 |
The Collectibles layer also contains five White Key markers, two Surgeon’s Key markers, one Architect’s Key and one Gate Key. Search the exact key name so those records do not mix with Simple Key results.
Find a Simple Key record
- Open Collectibles.
- Search “Simple Key”.
- Select one result in a reachable region.
- Add Benches and Passages for the route.
- Mark that specific record after collecting or resolving it.
Collectibles with locked ways and benches contains 197 points before search. Keep the key filter active to avoid mixing Memory Lockets, shard bundles and quest items into the route.
Match a key to a door
Switch from Collectibles to Locked ways after choosing the key. The ten lock markers show the recorded access points. Add Levers only when the door is part of a larger shortcut puzzle.
Do not assume the nearest lock is the intended use. A door may gate a later route or optional area, so choose the spending order from the current objective and the area you want to open.
Compare the ten locked routes
Open Locked ways on its own and inspect the ten access points before adding the 1,351 Passage markers. This keeps each door visible long enough to compare its region, nearest bench and connected branch.
A door on the same screen can still belong to another vertical route. Use the selected marker as the destination, then read the passage network outward until it reaches a bench or an already-open connection.
Use the passage network
Pharloom has 1,351 Passage markers and 368 Levers. Turning both on globally is noisy. Select the key or lock first, zoom into the region, then add the route layers.
A lock pin can sit close to Hornet on the flat map while its entrance begins on another branch. Follow connected passages and check the nearest bench. Straight-line distance is a weak guide in a vertical area.
Track doors separately from keys
Mark the collectible record when the key is obtained. Mark the Locked way when the door is opened or its route is understood. Keeping those actions separate prevents one check from hiding the other task.
For an unopened door you intend to revisit, save the selected map link and leave the marker visible.
