Mortal Shell 2 Shattered Beacon: Proxima Location
The Shattered Beacon is the traversal marker north of Blackridge Pass in Fainweald; Proxima's Shell is immediately inside, and the Veteran's Battle Axe is a short detour northwest.

The Shattered Beacon is in northern Fainweald, in the rocky ground north of Blackridge Pass. Enter it to reach Proxima. Her Shell pickup marker sits immediately inside, just south of the entrance on the world map.
The name is misleading when you use map filters. Shattered Beacon is filed under Traversal, not Beacons, and it is not one of the 19 overworld checkpoints.
How to reach the Shattered Beacon
Start from the Beacon southwest of the entrance, then take the uphill route into the rocky area to the north. Keep the Traversal layer on and select Shattered Beacon before leaving the checkpoint. The exact marker is easier to follow than looking for a twentieth beacon icon.
The entrance lies beyond the Blackridge Pass approach. If the path feels as though it is carrying you away from the normal checkpoint network, that is expected: the nearest regular Beacon is southwest of the Shattered Beacon, not on top of it.
How to get Proxima
Go through the Shattered Beacon and interact with Proxima’s Shell inside. The entrance and pickup markers are only a few steps apart on LootMap, so there is no second route or hidden overworld pickup to find.

Once you have claimed the Shell, the Shattered Beacon does not become a normal fast travel checkpoint. For the full Shell sweep, continue with all eight Mortal Shell 2 Shell locations.
Nearby Veteran’s Battle Axe
Before leaving the northern ridge, make the short detour northwest to the Veteran’s Battle Axe. It is the closest named weapon pickup to the Shattered Beacon.
With the four relevant layers enabled, the efficient order is the regular Beacon, Shattered Beacon, Proxima, then the Battle Axe. The first is your checkpoint; the other three are a traversal entrance, a Shell pickup, and a weapon pickup. Keeping those categories separate prevents the two beacon names from sending you to the wrong filter.
Why Shattered Beacon is missing from the Beacon guide count
LootMap shows 19 overworld Beacon markers. Shattered Beacon is a single, separately named Traversal marker, so it does not raise that count to 20 and does not belong to the cleansing checklist.
