The 23 markers are candidate positions. A live raid does not have to activate every one.
Merchant coverage by map
| Area | Merchant markers | Loose loot | Extraction |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hallowgrove | 10 | 108 | 18 |
| Brandrgarde South | 13 | 122 | 38 |
| Brandrgarde North | 0 | 96 | 22 |
Searching “Richie the Merchant” isolates every merchant candidate on the current map: 10 on Hallowgrove or 13 on Brandrgarde South. The shared title does not identify a smaller named subset. Clear the search before comparing Loose loot or Extraction so those route layers remain visible.
Route through a merchant, not toward one
A merchant stop is useful when it fits between loot and extraction.
- Choose an exit and leave Extraction on.
- Add Merchants and pick two candidates near the return route.
- Add Loose loot or Treasure according to the run.
- Use Enemy spawns only for the final risk check.
- Keep a route that still works if the first merchant is absent.
Hallowgrove merchants, loot and exits shows 136 points. The same South view shows 173. Both are small enough to read without searching once you zoom into one side of the area.
Plan Brandrgarde North from extraction
North contains 2,170 recorded positions, including 806 Treasure and 96 Loose loot markers, but no merchant candidates. That changes inventory planning. Decide what you are willing to carry to extraction before entering the long part of the route.
Choose one of North’s 22 Extraction points before adding Treasure or Loose loot. Keep a second exit visible so the route remains usable when the first approach is unsafe.
Compare merchant and exit coverage
Hallowgrove has 10 merchant candidates and 18 exits. Brandrgarde South has 13 merchant candidates and 38 exits. The merchant totals are close, but South offers more extraction choices around them. Keep two exits visible while comparing candidates so a route does not depend on one approach.
Use progress marks for route memory
Marking a merchant position is useful while learning the map. Hide marked to practise the candidates you still forget. For routine routes, leave the preferred stops visible and save the filtered map link.
Keep the live route readable
Do not leave every Enemy spawn visible while moving between merchant candidates. Hallowgrove alone has 1,894 enemy markers, enough to bury the 10 merchant points and 18 exits at a useful zoom level. Plan with Merchants, loot and Extraction first. Turn Enemy spawns on only around the two route segments you are comparing, then switch it off before moving to the next segment.
