Layers this guide uses

Mistfall Hunter has 326 Loose loot markers: 108 on Hallowgrove, 122 on Brandrgarde South and 96 on Brandrgarde North. Search lists every point under one shared Supply Chest title and shows no subtype, so the map does not separate the underlying pickup or event type. It also does not mean all 326 appear in one raid.

South has the largest loose-loot set and the largest extraction network. Hallowgrove has fewer exits, while North has no merchant layer to absorb a bag that fills early.

Loose loot versus Treasure

Treasure is the broader interactable layer. Loose loot is the lighter candidate layer, but its public markers do not expose a subtype. The distinction still changes the route.

  • Use Loose loot for a quick movement loop.
  • Use Treasure when an interactable type is the target.
  • Show both only after searching a small area.

All three maps contain 2,998 Treasure markers. Turning that layer on beside 326 Loose loot points hides the lighter route under interactable pins. Pick the task before picking the layers.

Plan from the exit backward

  1. Open Extraction and choose a primary exit.
  2. Add Loose loot and select a short chain toward that exit.
  3. Add Traversal when the route crosses floors, walls or vertical ground.
  4. Check Enemy spawns around the last third of the route.
  5. Keep a second exit visible.

Brandrgarde South with loot, traversal and exits has 182 points before zooming. That is readable at area scale. The same combination is 140 on Hallowgrove and 126 on North.

Treat every marker as a live check

A Loose loot candidate may be empty in the current raid. Inspect it when it lies near the route; crossing the whole map for one unconfirmed stop defeats a short pickup run.

Live state also affects ordinary ground loot. The stable map fact is the position. Presence, contents and contest level are raid facts.

Use marks for route knowledge

Mark unfamiliar positions after visiting them, then hide marked while learning the remaining network. A permanent mark should mean you know the spot. It should not mean the loot is permanently gone.

For route practice, save the filtered map and leave the planned points visible. If you mark them for today’s run, clear those temporary marks after the session.

When a pin is on the wrong floor

Loose loot often sits beside vertical paths. Add Traversal and inspect the nearby Journey points. Walking straight at the pin can put you against the correct wall on the wrong level.

If the position is empty after checking the level, continue to the next candidate. A route built from several nearby points survives normal match variation.
