The layer name is broader than “ore”. A player looking for Binding Crystal belongs here. A player looking for a cooking plant usually belongs in Gathering.

Filter before you move

  1. Open Mining.
  2. Search one exact type, such as Piercing Crystal.
  3. Add Warp Point and Location.
  4. Choose a compact group around one travel node.
  5. Mark new discovery points or save the filtered link for repeat farming.

Mining with Warp Points and region labels contains 4,115 markers before search. The name filter is what turns that database into a route.

Binding and Piercing Crystal routes

Binding Crystal has 789 markers and Piercing Crystal has 473. A full-map view of either type is still large. Zoom into the region you are already visiting, then compare the cluster with nearby travel points.

The four named memory crystals have similar totals: 90 Remembrance, 85 Oblivion, 85 Recollection and 84 Reverie. Search the full name. Searching only “Crystal” combines them with Binding, Piercing and Vein Crystal and returns 1,671 points.

Crates and barrels dominate the layer

Wooden Crates and Barrels account for 2,004 of the 4,049 markers. Leave those types off when the goal is a crystal route. Their density can hide the smaller sets even at regional zoom.

Crates are useful as secondary stops when they sit directly on a planned crystal loop. Adding every container first reverses the priority and makes the route longer without guaranteeing the material you wanted.

Mining versus Gathering

Gathering contains 4,202 ingredient points such as Silverwing Fillet, Rock Mushroom, Dawn Lanternleaf and other cooking materials. Mining contains the 16 types in the table above. Search checks hidden layers too, so use the result’s parent category to tell a gathered ingredient from a mining target.

For a food ingredient route, open Gathering after search and use the cooking ingredient locations guide.

Marks for discovery and farming

A marked resource point stays marked in this browser. Hide marked works for a first survey. For a route you intend to repeat, save the search and leave the stops visible, or clear the temporary marks after the run.

A recently collected resource can leave the correct marker empty. Continue to the next stop and return after the world state refreshes.
