Note counts by map
| Map | Notes | Supply drops | Enemy camps |
|---|---|---|---|
| Palpagos Islands | 55 | 480 | 58 |
| World Tree | 68 | 0 | 0 |
The smaller World Tree map has more notes than Palpagos. That makes its Note layer one of the few cases where the 1.0 region carries the larger checklist.
Palpagos note collections
The Palpagos layer contains the Castaway’s Journal series and diaries tied to Auri, Axel Travers, Bjorn Seligsson, Lily Everhart, Marcus Dryden, Saya Kurosaki, Victor Ashford and Zoe Rayne. Search the character name to reduce the 55-point layer to one series.
Use Notes plus Great Eagle Statues for a lore sweep. Notes are sparse enough that the full layer remains readable, and the nearest travel node makes a better route anchor than adding every chest in the area.
World Tree notes
The World Tree records 68 notes. Named entries include five parts of Zenara’s Diary, Ancient Recorder, Audio Recording from a Council Meeting, Suppression Operation Comms Log and A scorched piece of paper. Some of the remaining markers use a shared Note label instead of a specific note title.
Open the World Tree Note layer, search Zenara for the diary sequence, and mark each entry after reading it. The 15 Great Eagle Statues keep the route compact.
Supply drops are route candidates
The 480 supply-drop markers are possible world positions. The layer does not claim that every drop is active at once. Treat it as a set of places to watch while moving through the region.
Supply drops work best as a secondary layer. Add them to a mining, chest or travel route, then check the nearby candidates instead of crossing Palpagos for one point. Marking a supply-drop location should mean you have checked or learned the site, not that the event can never happen there again.
Enemy camps and travel risk
Palpagos has 58 enemy camp markers. Turn the layer on before a low-level collection loop or when you want to include camp combat deliberately.
The useful four-layer planning view is Notes, supply drops, camps and travel. Once you choose a route, switch off any layer that is not part of the trip. The 480 supply-drop points dominate the screen otherwise.
Keep the two sheets from mixing
An empty supply-drop or enemy-camp search on the World Tree is expected. Switch to Palpagos for those categories. An empty Zenara search on Palpagos is also expected because that diary series belongs to the World Tree.
For a full lore checklist, finish one sheet before moving to the other. Marks are stored per map, so a 55-note Palpagos sweep and a 68-note World Tree sweep will not overwrite each other.
