All 155 Lifmunk Effigy Locations - Palworld 1.0 Map

Palworld has 155 Lifmunk Effigies, 140 on the Palpagos Islands and 15 on the World Tree, inside an effigy layer that holds 407 statues of twelve different Pals.

Game build 24575825

Layers this guide uses

Palworld has 155 Lifmunk Effigies. 140 of them stand on the Palpagos Islands and the remaining 15 are on the World Tree map. Open the Palpagos effigy layer and 360 markers appear, because the layer carries every kind of Pal effigy rather than Lifmunk alone.

Across both maps the effigy layer holds 407 statues covering twelve Pals. Only 155 of those are Lifmunk. That gap is where most counting arguments start.

How to show only the Lifmunk Effigies on the map

There is no URL that isolates one effigy type, so you do it in the layer panel:

  1. Open the map with the effigy layer on, using the link above.
  2. Click the Lifmunk Effigy layer to open it. Every effigy type is listed with its own count.
  3. Press Hide all, then tick the Lifmunk Effigy row back on.

The map now draws only those 140 markers. The number in brackets beside each row counts what is inside the part of the map you are looking at, so you can pan to an island and read off how many are left there before you fly over.

Clicking a row instead of its checkbox singles that type out on the map, which is quicker when you only want to look rather than change what is drawn.

Seven Pals sit at exactly 30 statues each on Palpagos, which is what makes the layer look so crowded when you first switch it on. Those seven account for 210 of the 360 markers there, so most of what you see is not Lifmunk.

At the other end, Lunaris, Relaxaurus and Yakumo have four apiece across the whole game. The two Yakumo Effigies on Palpagos and the two on the World Tree are the hardest four markers in the layer to stumble into by accident.

The effigy layer is drawn by default on both maps, so you do not have to switch anything on to see them. At low zoom the markers group into discs with a count on each, and the largest disc is the densest patch of effigies in view. That count only tells you about Lifmunk once you have filtered to Lifmunk, because an unfiltered disc of 40 could be 40 Tanzee statues.

For scale, 360 effigies out of 37,544 markers puts the layer at about one percent of the Palpagos map. It looks heavier than that with everything else switched off, which is what makes filtering to one type worth the three clicks.

What each effigy type does when you hand it in is not something this page can confirm for build 24575825. The map tells you what is where; it does not tell you what the game does with it.

The 47 effigies on the World Tree

The World Tree map has 47 effigies in three types: 30 Cattiva, 15 Lifmunk and 2 Yakumo. Cattiva Effigies exist nowhere else. If you have never seen one, that is why.

Open the World Tree effigy layer to see all 47. To narrow it to the 30 Cattiva statues, use this view, which switches the other two types off for you. Swap that for the 15 Lifmunk ones when you are on a Lifmunk run.

Those 15 markers matter more than their count suggests. They are 15 of the 155, and a player who cleared all 140 on Palpagos and stopped there is 15 short with nothing left on that map to find.

The four Statues of Power

Effigies are offered at a Statue of Power to raise your capture power. Palpagos has 4 of them. The World Tree map has none, so every effigy you pick up there has to be carried back.

Open the Statue of Power layer for the four positions, or put the statues and the effigies on screen together so you can plan a loop that ends at one.

Four markers is a small enough layer that you can leave it switched on permanently without cluttering anything.

How many effigies do you need?

The number of Lifmunk Effigies required to max out capture power is not something this page can confirm for this build, and the figures in circulation do not agree with each other. What is fixed is the supply: 155 Lifmunk Effigies exist, 140 on one map and 15 on the other.

That makes the practical question different from the one people usually ask. Instead of chasing a target number, count what you have already handed in, then use the map to find the ones you have not reached yet.

Marking effigies off as you collect them

Open any marker and there is a Mark checkbox on its card. Marking a marker is the only thing the site remembers for you, and it stays in your own browser.

The controls that matter on a layer this size:

  • Hide marked, which clears everything you have already collected off the map and leaves the remainder.
  • The marked counter, which tells you how many you have ticked on the map you are looking at.
  • Clear marks, for a new save.

Marks are stored per map, not per game. Palpagos and the World Tree keep separate tallies, which is what you want when 140 and 15 are counted on different trips. If you play across two devices, note that the marks do not travel between them.

A workable order for a clean run: switch to the Lifmunk-only view, work one island at a time using the in-view count to know when it is empty, turn Hide marked on so the map thins out as you go, then move to the World Tree for the last 15.

The share buttons pass on a link to whatever you are looking at, filter and position included, and the Discord one puts that link straight on your clipboard. On a co-op save that is the quickest way to split the 140: send one player a view of one island, take another yourself, and neither of you walks the same ground twice.
